Comentarios: Muuy mala. No funciona y el soporte es pesimo

Puntos a favor:

El precio y la posibilidad de reemplazar a teamviewer

Contras:

no funciona, las pocas veces que logramos dar soporte con este programa, se corto la conexión y luego dio errores que no se pudieron solucionar con el soporte. Lo usamos en windows y en linux, y tuvimos problemas en ambos sistemas operativos. Volvimos a teamviewer

Comentarios: Fantastica, vamos a tener tres usuarios y es perfecto, de momento nos va muy bien y la forma de solucionar la doble pantalla es magnifica

Es muy facil de usar, lo que mas nos gusta es que haya una cuenta donde estan los usuarios, en otros cada usuario va por libre, hemos probado dos o tres programas antes de decidirnos, pero en dos dias que probamos este ya lo suscribimos, antes de terminar el periodo de pruebaEs precio es escandalosamente bueno.

Contras:

No llevamos tantos dias de experiencia para detectar cosas negativas, el uso de un programa asi requiere ir conociendola y tener una experiencia en su uso

Solución completa y económica para el acceso remoto

Comentarios: Este producto ha permitido a nuestra empresa llevar a los empleados a casa rápidamente sin ningún contratiempo en cuanto a la seguridad se refiere. Compramos la edición profesional y al instante más de 200 empleados iniciaron sesión en sus equipos de oficina mientras trabajaban desde casa.

Puntos a favor:

Fácil de configurar e implementar. Lo compramos al comienzo de la pandemia y nos permitió mover a los empleados a sus casas de manera eficiente y ademas mantuvimos nuestros datos seguros, ya que nunca salieron de nuestra red.

Contras:

A veces, la conexión de red a la PC remota recibe una respuesta lenta y el visor del servidor a veces falla, pero reiniciar siempre soluciona el problema.

Price: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition. I previously used another program (ZOHO Assist) but was looking for something better, but also cheaper if possible. RemotePC is cheaper, especially since I got the special discount for getting a 2-year subscription.Audio chat:I use RemotePC to hop onto computers of friends and family to help them fix things and troubleshoot. The video chat functionality is extra cool as we can can video or audio chat while I help them fix things on their computer.Good connection:I have fibre optic internet but the people I help remotely often have pretty terrible internet and yet it works perfectly.

Contras:

A minor thing but I don't need the video aspect of Video chat, I just use it to chat to the person I am helping by voice. A simple audio chat feature would be cool.

Simple, inexpensive, reliable.

Comentarios: I've been using Remote PC for few years now and recommend it to many people. For some reason it is not very known in industrial automation world. I used before Go To My PC and TeamViewer, didn't notice much difference except price.

Puntos a favor:

Price is reasonable unlike many competitors. Have all features needed for remote access and control. Easy to setup and use. Doesn't have tons of settings, which is usually nothing but headache. Very reliable. One of my remote computers gets accessed once in few month and its always online. Very pleased.

Contras:

I didn't experienced any issues with this software. Maybe user interface in not most intuitive, take few seconds for new user to figure how to add computer to the fleet.

Don't ever rely on this software!!

Comentarios: Overall experience is poor, have had several time consuming chat sessions and the answer is always to "update to the latest version" - which makes no difference.

Puntos a favor:

I liked the appeal of the price.... but I soon learnt you get what you pay for!

Contras:

Unreliable, don't ever install this where remote access to a machine is critical - it will let you down! Buggy, crashes all the time with various software exceptions, file transfer is is a guessing game as to whether it will do it/has done it, client machines continuously need the software processes killing via task manager and then re starting to get it to work - this is exaggerated on pcs with multiple user accounts as switching users seems to cause it to hang consistently. Also has a habit of reporting that a session is in progress when it is not. I was a Logmein user for years before switching to this product so no stranger to remote software. Logmein might be more expensive but it is in a completely different league to RemotePC

Amazingly Simple Access

Comentarios: I have been blown away how simple the program is to use and the functionality of things like file transfers, remote access, and mobile device apps for pc access. They have a new customer that will be a return customer!

The program has extremely easy setup and onboarding. I’m now in full control of my tech stack without the need to lug laptops all over creation.

Contras:

I wish the pricing was a bit more incremental. I’d really like to manage a few more devices but not as many as the next pricing tier.

Surprised by so this product when looking for some alternative

Comentarios: Haven't been using it very intensively so far because of mid-term health issues when I'm limited regarding the amount of work I usually do, but overally I'm happy with RemotePC

Simple setup, rich options to configure, smooth performance

Contras:

It's not a matter of life and death, but modern design of GUI would be welcome

Remote PC the best remote access experience

Comentarios: The best experience in remote access, overall, it exceeded our Team expectations.

It offers convenience, flexibility, and efficiency. It has allowed our team to access our office computers from anywhere, and it has allowed the whole team to collaborate in real-time, enhancing productivity at 100% and reducing downtime.

Contras:

Nothing really so far it has been a great experience, we were using TeamViewer and Remote PC is much better, and it has become our application of choice for remote access.

Works Great, Easy to Use, Good value

I used RealVNC before and now that they are getting rid of their free version I decided to try other options. RemoteVNC is less expensive than RealVNC, and I think RemoteVNC has a better user interface when it comes to multiple monitors.

Contras:

Nothing. Everything seems to work as it should.

Remote desktop easily

Connecting and remote connection with desktop using RemotePC is very easy and can be setup as fast as under 1 minute. I use it to solved minor problem on my colleague desktop from my workstation.

It need a strong and stable internet connection on my end and the target desktop to have a smooth connectivity.

A great product for a reasonable price.

Comentarios: Remote access and remote file transfer are both easy and relatively reliable, with the exception of what I mentioned under "cons". Security is good. Feature set seems good, even if I don't think I'll be using a number of the other available features. Great value for the product.

Puntos a favor:

I appreciate both the ease of use of the product and it's constant security to ensure that whomever is trying to access a given machine is authorized to do so.

Contras:

The software can sometimes randomly disconnect during a session and needs to reconnect or I need to close the window and reconnect. It's not often, and not a critical problem, but I've notice it has happened on a few of the remote control sessions that I've done so far. Perhaps the software need a slightly better timeout/critical action handling function to more seamlessly deal with this type of situation so it's less obvious/intrusive to the user. I'm not on low-bandwidth connections, so that doesn't seem like it's the issue.

A less expensive full featured alternative

Comentarios: Overall, the experience has been very positive with ease of use and deployment.

Puntos a favor:

Remote access, unattended access, and the ability to move files easily have all been game changers for our small agency. It was really easy to deploy across all of our computers and it has made it a breeze to be able to log in, move files, provide real time support, and ensure that our machines are as functional and safe as possible. We had previously been using an alternative that cost more and did not deliver as good of service without some limitations. We've been super happy with the switch and aren't planning to return to our prior program.

Contras:

Overall, we have been really pleased with the product and haven't found the features that we use to be lacking. However, we are a really small organization with simpler needs and I can see that larger organizations with more complex needs may find the overall product to be a bit simple for their needs.

I'm coming back! Whoa. Teamviewer is not for me.

Comentarios: I didn't appreciate them and switched to Teamviewer and it was the worst experience EVER. There's no way the Teamviewer reviews are real.

A Superb Cost Effective option to the expensive competitor

Comentarios: So far, its been wonderful.

Puntos a favor:

After spending a year with a competitor, I loved that the switch to RemotePC was painless, quick and provided all the same functionality at a fraction of the cost with added Backup Options that are also easy to deploy and use. Something the competitor had but was not very clear on regarding the pricing. RemotePC was very direct and upfront on what you got for what you paid.

Contras:

I have yet found something I did not like. Maybe not learning of RemotePC a year prior when I first paid for the competitor.

Remote working made possible for everyone

Comentarios: In the short time that we had to switch our co-workers to allow them to work remotely at home, RemotePC really became a clutch tool since we were able to deploy it fast, and also because it had such a low learning curve, people who wasn't so computer savvy were able to work seemlessly.

Puntos a favor:

We were pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to deploy this software to all of our users when we had to switch to a remotely operated work environment. Even people who weren't pro computer users, were able to easily login and start controlling their work PCs at home.

Contras:

If there was a drawback, I would say the speed, but this is the problem with all remote desktop softwares. With RemotePC, you can at lease control it in a way so that you can slightly reduce the visual quality if you need the boost of speed.

Comentarios: So far after a few days I like the program. It is a good value.

Remote PC appeared to have benefit to our organization and I decided to give it a try. I have only employed it for a few days. My first connect was eventually successful with the help of help desk chat. The presentation of the remote screen, Mac as remote and PC as host, was clear, responsive and uncluttered. I can see it will take a while and some more coaching to fully understand and operate. I am up for that. It has been a good beginning.

Contras:

I am an experienced PC user, but it will take watching videos, reading FAQs and coaching from the Help Desk to be fully up and running. It's not entirely intuitive.

Alternativas consideradas: AnyDesk

Razones para elegir RemotePC: Yes. We went from free on the old platform (too many restrictions), and to paid for Remote PC. I think it will be well worth it.

Software anterior: TeamViewer Remote

Razones para cambiar a RemotePC: It just seemed right, and the cost was reasonable. As a non-profit we need to operate frugally.

Cheapest yet the best on the market!

Comentarios: Cheapest yet the best on the market. Very fast connection. Simple interface. Easy to use. Very good support team. 24/7 live chat from real agent.

Puntos a favor:

Firstly, the price is just so affordable. Second, one of the pc got problem connecting at first due to ISP problem, within days, RemotePC team have given new update just to tackle this. Since then I have no problem connecting anymore.

Contras:

Basically nothing for now. It's working so well I don't have anything to not like about it.
