My opinion on soda pdf

Puntos a favor:

This software has enabled me to open, view, create, convert, modify, secure and share files in document format.

Contras:

I haven't really noticed any inconveniences

A good tool for PDF management

Comentarios: Overall Soda PDF is a great app, does a great job in document management and editing.

Puntos a favor:

I encounter great support team that really helps you when you got an issue. Soda PDF functionalities are great, when it comes to documents, create or edit I use this app because is fast and reliable. Sharing feature is the docs I am working on with my colleagues is easy and helpful

Contras:

The first plan is almost useless, you have too few functionalities for its price.

Don't Buy This

Comentarios: It's crap, use any other product. When my subscription expired, I had to re-install the desktop software that was already on my computer instead of just entering a license number or refreshing the account that was logged in already.

Creating fillable forms and converting to/from jpg and pdf

Contras:

When my year-long subscription expired, I got no notification via email, nor any indication when I opened my desktop software. I created an entire fillable document and when I tried to save it, I was prompted to "upgrade" to the program that expired. There was no way to save the form I had completed, and I was forced to close the program to install the "upgrade". It should have been a simple license number, since the program was already installed. I have lost an hour of work.

Great PDF Editing Application

Puntos a favor:

Soda PDF works great woth converting files from PDF to other formats and vice versa. I also enjoy using their PDF editing functionality.

Contras:

None. This application is great, very useful and shortens the time it takes to fill out PDF applications.

Better than Adobe

Puntos a favor:

It is a full PDF editor! You can edit and manipulate any text on the page, even rearrange it. You can also rearrange and delete pages if needed.

Contras:

Soda PDF lacks a good app. Everything must be done from a desktop/laptop. You can use your phone browser, however it’s pretty difficult to do so.

Comentarios: I am set up not to renew next year. I also have a 30 day window to see if I want a refund. I will play with the software to see what value it will give me, but most likely will call during my open hours of support to have this refunded and will continue my hunt for a good PDF editor software.

Contras:

The cost was all over the board - different browsers offered different discounts, the bigger the discount the more it was going to renew for. I was very upset with the install - I was prompted with an offer of help with the install to ensure it was done properly. After they installed, they went into my task manager to show how many processes i had running along with how much space I had. They ask when the last time I had my computer serviced- told them last year with the purchase of a new SSD. They said I would need it done again and would need to keep up with more regular maintenance to make sure the software ran properly. They then said they were going to set me up with a maintenance program... I disconnected the computer share and ran a virus protector because I was afraid of being hacked. I purchased the phone support only to find you can not get to a number on their site, so I started a chat to get the number to find out the time available to me was 3am to 9am. Both the company and myself are in the eastern standard time. The person I chatted with also mentioned that they use or are a 3rd party to the software - a trading partner and what I experienced was part of their job to make sure my computer is running well. I would have never allowed a 3rd party into my computer and feel like I was taken advantage of. It's not like I was taking advantage of a free service that they needed to make money off of me beyond the purchase of the software.

Too Hard to Utilise Software

Comentarios: Help Desk peopl;e have tried to help and occasionally the software works for one session but then it "forgets" once more. The overall experience has been the worst for any subscription software or any software in general

I have had a subscription for several years and have had to lodge countless support requests because the software simply does not work. While it recognises that I am logged into my account, it does not connect the software to my subscription and therefore I cannot utilise any functions. Despite endless help desk requests (and the former staff - before Avanquest took over - have been good), I am paying a subscription service foe software that completely fails

Good program but sometimes heavy on resources

Ability to convert between different formats such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. This feature made it easy for me to convert documents to and from PDF format without losing quality

Contras:

I dont like significant strain it puts sometimes on computer resources. The program's resource-intensive nature becomes apparent especially when dealing with larger PDF files or performing complex tasks.Soda PDF can slow down my computer.

A good pdf editor

Comentarios: I used this product in my university days and helped me save a lot of time while my managing PDFs related to courses.overall it is one of the good Pdf editors in the market.

Puntos a favor:

The pdf editing feature is good and has lot of options for choosing. It also have the electronic signature option which can be used in official documents.the features like append/merge, file sharing etc saves a lot of time in document management.

Contras:

The file sharing limit can be improved and interface can be changed to simpler. Apart from that there are no issues

Simply Reviewed - Soda PDF

Comentarios: One of the best apps in this category. But there is scope of improvement before becoming the best.

The rate at which files are converted without any error or mixing the files. Also the theme is so simple that any new user can understand the features easily.

Contras:

Need to work and improvise on the digital signature part. It can be made a more easy task to perform.

Not honoring contract

Comentarios: They just deleted me and my perpetual subscription for the crime of trying to use it. I have been canceled. They do not honor their contracts. Dishonorable.

I was using soda 9. It was a bit clunky but served my purpose for a lower price than an adobe subscription

Contras:

I bought a perpetual use license to use soda 9 forever for one purchase price. They have now changed their pricing structure to a monthly subscription. As I updated my computer I had to download the free version and then convert to my subscription. They (soda) have made it progressively harder to use my bought and paid for perpetual subscription. My hard drive died so I had to download the free version and switch to my subscription. Suddenly that seemed impossible to do. I have always been able to log onto their site and see my perpetual subscription. I could do that this morning but after trying to apply my subscription to the software I got an email saying I canceled my own subscription and my log in no longer works. So in essence they just canceled me, my subscription and even my log in. Their site now says my user name is no longer recognized by their system.

All in one pdf editor!

Really happy that there's an all in one pdf convertor out there. You don't really have to change sites to do it too. You can convert and edit at the same time.

It would be nice to have a pdf splitter.

Product and Customer Service Lacking

There is nothing about this software that I like. It only works about half the time. I have requested a refund but no one will get back to me. Customer service is impossible to contact. Their "chat" doesn't work. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Complete waste of money and endless purchases

Comentarios: Absolutely terrible. I warn anyone who thinks about trying this terribly designed product. Adobe will provide a better experience and wont have all these "in app" purchases to do what the initial purchase should include.... the basic function of saving the file to send to someone for more that 24 hrs. This company is a scam.

Absolutely nothing, It is very clunky and does not have an ease of use to it.

Contras:

Spending hours on a document to have to pay extra to download it and then it just gives errors and takes you in a loop

Good Idea - Poorly implemented - LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT INFO

Comentarios: My biggest issue is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - POOR PRODUCT DISCRIPTIONS. You would think after over 2 years of customers complaining regarding the poor customer service experience, they would have fixed it by now. I have waited on hold for more than 1/2 an hour then being disconnected. Asking for a order number instead of having a product license ID listed in your Account product information is a poor design. Email to Customer Support provided none of the answers I inquired upon. I wanted to recommend this product to my clients for their pdf solutions - However, I cannot find a clear description of what each product Home, Business, Pro - Premium - Standard - Anywhere has to offer for tools. Refunds for purchases seem to be lacking as an easy to do in the 1st 30 days and When you cancel it only cancels at the end of the year purchased rather than immediately refunding the unused. Email requests take over 48 hours to get answered with an answer that in no way clears up the matter. Customer Support is very limited if you do get them on the phone as they will forward to their tech team your issue. How is that helpful after waiting 1/2 an hour. If you want a whole product then you must buy everything in bits and pieces - I want a product with all the features not buy a little here and a little there and will ask you each time you go to use a feature if you want to purchase more. Premium - Pro - Business - Anywhere should have all the features -

The product allows me to manipulate pdf's otherwise blocked from editing - Great when someone creates a form that you need to edit to use. The price was great considering the alternatives. Adobe just got greedy.

Contras:

Going from Free to Premium it often wants me to purchase more for a feature that Premium already should have. Or wants you to purchase separately operations in which should be a standard for the Premium product

Be careful when buying through a limited offer

Contras:

Didn't really like the overall buying experience. We've got a limited-time offer to upgrade from a free trial. The price was supposedly around $46 for a Pro version (1-year subscription), but then we were shocked to see we were charged almost the double amount - $85. It appears they included a bunch of spam products in this subscription, but it was not really clearly presented to us, end-users. Also, we didn't get the Mastercard 3Dsecure confirmation code, so that's a major security concern.

This is a SCAM

Comentarios: The support team can only tell you that their product does not support the features you try to use. Their billing department is horrible. You may need an act of God in order to cancel your subscription, which in most cases you don't even know that you will have after buying the product.

Absolutely nothing, It is cumbersome to use and not always provide the output you expect.

Contras:

The software had a reasonable price, I decide to buy it to try. The Software is clunk, not intuitive and does not offer all the options Adobe does. The worst part is that I just discovered they are continuously charging me for a sneak renewal, which costs double of the price of the software. There are plenty of bad reviews of this product at PcMag, Amazon, GetApp, and others, so do not be alluded you are buying a good product. It does not worth the trouble.

Soda pdf review

Comentarios: Soda pdf having many features for pdf editing and conversion we can simply taking the pictures and convert to pdf. Having a student we are using many documents simply create pdfs using this platform and simply share with others.

Soda pdf provides different types of features. We can easily convert images into pdf. In this application they are having many other tools and functions. We can convert word to pdf also.

Contras:

In this they having some alinement difference when the excel is converted to pdf, but it manually edited. User interface is not good.

Best pdf editor

Comentarios: My experience with Soda pdf is great and its a super pdf editor.I recommend everyone using it.Soda pdf is used to convert files in to pdf and to merge pdf's.The pdf's can be compressed through soda pdf.The user-interface is easy to use.

The best feature of soda pdf is that the files can be easily converted to pdf's.The different operations can be performed like merging of pdfs and also compressing pdf's to small size.The process is so fast during the conversion process.It is the best pdf and text editor when compared to other pdf editors.

I think there are no dislikes regarding Soda pdf as it is best than other pdf editors and have more features when compared to other pdf's.

Contras:

Everything. Incredibly slow on all levels. The slowest piece of software we've ever used. Just took us 25 minutes to uninstall. Crashes the most of any software we run. Had to uninstall and reinstall 6 times before it functioned properly. The worst part has been the customer service. I took an average of three days for them to respond to every support ticket we submitted. All we ever received was an incredibly bad attitude and the statement "go re-read the instruction manual". The last incident was never resolved even after going back and forth for over two weeks. I asked for a refund and was told "we don't give refunds of any kind for any reason after the 30 use period. Decided to go back to Adobe and have had a great and seamless experience thus far. Yes, we're paying more, but we're far more productive. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

Great tool to edit and organize you PDF files

Comentarios: Adding text to forms and documents and merge/extract pages are functions we use every week.
A great tool for our PDF needs.

Appealing interface, easy to find the functions. The page preview pane at the left side saves lots of time to navigate in the document.
