Comentarios: A pesar de los contados casos que tuvimos y que no pudieron ser solventados e incluidos en la solucion de WebTitan, considero que el 99% de las espectativas fueron cumplidas y mejoro mucho la seguridad de navegacion en nuestros equipos clientes. Muy satisfecho.

He tenido oportunidad de usar el producto WebTitan y en la parte administrativa es excelente, una solucion centralizada y permite aplicar los cambios de inmediato a toda la cadena. Como usuario ha permitido saber que puedo y no puedo hacer con mi navegacion y a donde comunicarme si requiero un permiso extra. Aparte de sus configuraciones de filtrado,s e pueden añadir configuraciones personalizadas que se adapten en este caso a mi compañia.

Contras:

La experiencia en general fue buena y satisfactoria, mas sin embargo existian ciertas excepsiones que debido a las naturalesa del negocio y de su infraestructura no podian ser incluidas en esta solucion, hablo de 2 o 3 casos de aproximadamente 2500, pero siendo honestos es complicado que actualmente en el mercado exista algun producto que se adapte al 100% a cualquier negocio justo por esas excepciones en donde para que operara se requeria que nuestra infraestructura fuese rediseñada, por lo que debido a costos, salia mejor vivir con esas excepsiones que modificar la infraestructura.

Comentarios: For several years, WebTitan has supported us with a reliable web filtering tool that has served us well. We're confident that it's blocking and slowing traffic as we've set it up.

Puntos a favor:

Quite easy to set up, clients were quickly migrated from the old operation, and new clients were quickly onboard ed. The monitoring functions are simpler to set up, and the data is displayed in a far more appealing manner. The ability to stop advertisement domains is part of content filtering; sure, this doesn't capture every ad site, but it's enough to make a difference. The greatest thing is that there is no charge for assistance. Any proposal I've made has received swift feedback and resolutions.

Contras:

It's not as easy to install as I thought, but once it's up and running, it's a job well done. The impressive infrastructure, technologies, and support services, as well as the fact that it is cloud-based and has a strong product roadmap. We would not hesitate to suggest them to other businesses. Misclassified pages are also being blocked although they shouldn't be. The website could use some updating and improved organization.

Great, affordable web filtering

Comentarios: We recommend WebTitan to all of our clients and it is part of our main stack.

Puntos a favor:

WebTitan is easy to get up and running and does a great job of filtering with predictable results. It is also very flexible and can be used to have separate policies for different sets of users, and the AD integration makes this easy to apply.

Contras:

We have not had any major issues with the product,

Very average product. Works fine, but feels very dated in usability and interface

Comentarios: Less spam, since O365 spam filtering is woefully inadequate.

Puntos a favor:

It does work fairly well at keeping out spam, and the daily summary emails of what is in the quarantine makes it manageable.

Contras:

The interface feels horribly dated and has not improved at all since we started using it a couple years ago. It reminds me of early cpanel iterations in terms of UI. Also, the inability to manage what file extensions are blocked is a let down (be it add more, or let ones through that we need).

Cost effective solution for DNS filtering

Comentarios: It does the job I need it to do and requires very little management overhead once set up

WebTitan is more cost effective but provides an equal level of protection compared to alternative DNS filters

Contras:

Not being able to link policies to EntraID groups and not being able to nest policies.

Webtitan long term use

Comentarios: We been using it for 5 years+, as soon as we installed we realize that our DNS issues with local providers in Perú (For some reason we always had problems with specific web services and websites even though we had 2 ISP, both had the problem but they were gone as soon as we deployed web titan)
After the redirection to the webtitan appliances we installed, that issue was finally gone. We also used a lot the OTP for external users, that's a good plus

It finally fixed our DNS issues with local ISP providers

Contras:

The loading time in reports through the web and I would like a new version of the virtual appliance.

Integrated Network Concepts - Web Titan Review

Comentarios: Overall, it works very well. We are pleased with the DNS filtering function. It is even tighter than a competing Cisco product in that area.

Does not have as many features as Cisco Umbrella, but for smaller clients it is all they need.

Very Good Option

Comentarios: For the Price and it's effectiveness in blocking unsuitable traffic, can't complain at all

Cost effective, allows filtering across a wide range of Devices both on and off the Network.

Contras:

It struggles to let traffic through even a 'safe' Domain with one particular program we use, even though it's category for blocking is unchecked

Set it and Forget it (better than Ronco)!

Comentarios: It has been great! We receive prompt service when we do have questions.

Puntos a favor:

We've been users of WebTitan for several years. It is hands-off. We literally set it and forget it. For our enterprise, I would consider the price point to be low cost.

Contras:

This may be from our lack of knowledge, but it would be awesome to use an integration to Active Directory and send scheduled department level reports to each manager for the employees' usage over the month. Also, it would be nice to remove the known usage to Microsoft 365. We know that is our most active website.

Helpdesk PC/Tech

Comentarios: Loved. Save IT time deal with whitelist.

SpamTitan is our favorite anti spam solution.

Comentarios: We had other solutions in the past, very awkward to deal with, many false positives. With SpamTitan, everything is under control. We had a few spoofing issues and support directed us toward the right settings.

Puntos a favor:

We are using the Cloud version. The console is quite easy to use and there are many options that can be configured to take care of every aspect of email security. Support is fast and always find the solution to isssues we bring up. We cannot live without Anti spam solution nowaday and it is very important that the tool be efficient and easy to use.

Contras:

No cons to report. The only thing I can think of would be the ability to go back further in time in the quarantine zone. I understand that this means quite a lot of storage, but this is the only thing I can think of.

Contras:

Everyone was great at first. Since then support has been some of the worst I've dealt with out of any of our software vendors. We have had an issue ongoing for over a month and support just closed the ticket without resolving after we have been waiting on a "fix". No one can get back in touch with us within a week, reporting stinks, and since you all upgraded the portal, we cannot even get the policy page to load for our client. Promises of fixes and resolutions for weeks. We are looking to cancel service now and move to another solution with better support/features. Not happy in the least.

Excellent product for a controlled web access at the office ( walled Garden)

Comentarios: we use a walled garden system , ie only approved sites are enabled across all offices . hence better security and less tiem wasted

blocked site are easily detected which can be easily added to the approved sites, and the reporting feature showing all sites accessed from any particular PC

Contras:

Not much , but an improvement I would love to have is , " a simple "click" , or "tag" to blocked sites so as to transfer them to approved sites instead of doing copy and paste . cause if it is only 1 site no problem , but if you have several sites to add , you need to switch from approved sites to reporting , back and forth

Simple and Easy to Set up DNS and Web Monitoring Solution

Comentarios: Overall very satisfied. For the price point, I don't think it can be beat.

Fairly simple setup, easy to use and maintain, effective, and customer service has always been great.

Contras:

Sometimes users end up with multiple profiles in WebTitan due to the way roaming laptops work. That's not necessarily WebTitan's fault but it's still annoying.

Some Customer Support Agents Amazing, Some not so Good

Comentarios: Everthing about web titan service and support has been great, except my interactions with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] as noted above.

Puntos a favor:

I purchased Web Titan to block all thing pornographic from my computer. This your software has done very well! Once blocked, I needed to ensure I couldn't get back into the account, and the only way to do this at the moment is to change the email associated with the account to one that I don't know. So I reached out to your support and asked them to change the email address associated with the account, so I can no longer access it. Technical Support Engineer [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] helped me out with this and made my dreams a reality. He did a great job and I'm thankful for that.

Contras:

After the initial setup and email change, I needed to blacklist a few more URLs, including facebook, because there are plenty of sexual images on there. I reached out to support to quickly add the URLs, (to avoid wasting time changing the email back and having me do it), and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] responded, and was incredibly rigid and resistant to helping. Basically, he's the kid at recess that tells the teacher on everyone, saying he would reprimant the support agent ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]) that made this happen in the first place. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] did an amazing job. It's [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] that should be in trouble, if any, in my opinion. Anyway, account manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] talked to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], calmed him down, and convinced him to blacklist the 5 websites in my account. The job is now done and I'm happy as can be.

Extremely good blocking of spam, a bit hard to use though.

Very good blocking of spam messages. Works with any e-mail server setup. Provides extra layer of protection.

Contras:

Difficult to use their web interface, as a lot of the parts don't make sense. No simple method to setup multiple users quickly and easily. But once setup, it's pretty much set it and forget it. Also, you lose 99% of control of incoming messages at your e-mail server. Which may or may not be a bad thing.

I use the SpamTitan Cloud. I like it! Low price and powerfull anti spam

Lovely web access control tool

Webtitan is a truly powerful and feature rich software. Some of its best features include the ease of setting it up, its ability to filter encrypted connections, the ability to filter specific url their fantastic customer support.

Contras:

There's a lack of flexibility with the reporting. Spam pass through occasionally.

SpamTitan is well worth it!

Comentarios: SpamTitan HQ Almost made Spam a thing of the past for me, while I can still deliver and white/Black list, from the daily report, in my inbox.

Puntos a favor:

SpamTitan eliminates about 98% of my unwanted emails. By means of its algorithm. and the centralised filter.

Contras:

For an untrained individual like myself, it was not so easy to set up. I am still missing a feature to add senders or domains to black/white lists directly from the outlook interface. On both the Office 365 online interface, and Mac OS install (I do believe this feature exists for the windows installment of Outlook). I would also like to see the option of user blacklisting by content.

Very easy to use and works better than more expensive products.

The gui and setup are very easy to use. Network integration was easy and rule setup was very user friendly.

Contras:

Slower response time for when I need in depth reports on specific users and their internet utilization.

The most fundamental, widely used robust and effective system

Comentarios: If I talk about my overall experience, I would say WebTitan is outstanding software that helps me a lot in minimizing viruses.

Puntos a favor:

The thing I like most about WebTitan is that it is extremely easy to use and configure. I like its' clear interface. It let us block malicious content and spam easily. It is no doubt an amazing product helping us a lot in kicking out harmful bad stuff. It is helpful in integrating with other network simply. I love its responsive support. Furthermore, in order to filter websites WebTitan is the best solution.

Contras:

There is not anything to dislike about WebTitan as it fulfills all the needs of our company. I never face any problem whenever I use this product. It is a flawless app with lots of benefits. It has made my work easier for me.

The ultimate antispam system

Comentarios: It protects our websites and services from bots, spam and malware.

Puntos a favor:

Webtitan is a DNS filtering system and is updated daily to exclude malware. It is easy to use and the price is low. Generally it does a good job detecting and blocking known sources of spam/malware.

Contras:

When you first start using this system, make sure to monitor it repeatedly, because it can often mistakenly 'greylist' or 'blacklist' unknown sources. As time goes by you will encounter these false positives less and less.

Best Bang for your Buck

Comentarios: Increased productivity and network security.

Puntos a favor:

The interface is as simple as it gets. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Customer service has always been prompt and effective. The support team has always been able to resolve my issues on the first try whether it be on the phone or via email.

Contras:

There are a couple of features I wish were implemented, but given time I think it will come together.
