Comentarios: En general, he tenido una gran experiencia con Squarespace.

Puntos a favor:

He estado usando Squarespace para mi sitio web durante varios meses y debo decir que es un creador de sitios web fantástico. Las plantillas son impresionantes y la interfaz de arrastrar y soltar es muy fácil de usar, incluso para alguien sin experiencia en diseño de sitios web como yo.

Contras:

Squarespace es, sin duda, un gran creador de sitios web, pero tiene algunas limitaciones. Por ejemplo, la plataforma no permite mucha personalización más allá de lo que está disponible en las plantillas.

Comentarios: En general es muy buena, si tienes claro lo que necesitas, podes tener un sitio web operativo en tiempo record y sin escribir codigo.

Puntos a favor:

NO necesitas tener tantos conocimientos en diseño web para tener una web atractiva y funcionando con menus, paginas y formularios de contacto. Las plantillas están para ayudar mucho porque te ahorran mucho tiempo de edicion, ademas de que aprender tocando y viendo. Otra cosa es que podes ver directamente como va a quedar el diseño antes de publicar. Tambien no tenes que preocuparte por el hosting, ya que lo tiene integrado. El período de pruebas es de 14 dias, que te permite aprender.

Contras:

Personalmente como desventaja no encontré como integrar algunos servicios de terceros para ecomerce de Argentina como Mercadopago.

Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados

Comentarios: Aporta a que pequeños , medianos y grandes empresas puedan proyectarse y tener una vitrina en linea.

Puntos a favor:

Su funcion como tal es muy facil para personas que no saben usarlo, lo puedan diseñar según a tu gusto.

Contras:

Por el momento no he visto ninguno, quizás algo mínimo seria que a veces hacen un poco de spam, en el correo.

Si urge una página web visualmente atractiva, esta es la opción

Comentarios: Es una herramienta que sin tener conocimientos de computación te permite tener en un día una página web atractiva y visualmente funcional.

Puntos a favor:

Tiene herramientas de construcción y plantillas de las mejores que he visto en el mercado, tiene herramientas adicionales como creación de logos que complementan mucho y aunque no lo he usado una herramienta para crear tiendas en línea

Contras:

es de los productos más caros en el mercado y la integración con dominios externos no es tan inmediata

Una forma sencilla de crear páginas web pero con muchas limitaciones

Comentarios: Buena en un principio pero cuando el proyecto creció, me vi muy limitado y tuve que migrar toda la web a wordpress.

Puntos a favor:

Su mejor argumento es que resulta muy fácil trabajar con la interfaz y crear el diseño de tu sitio web.

Contras:

Hay muchas cosas que realmente no puedes hacer. Por ejemplo, su velocidad de carga es malísima de cara a Google y no hay forma de mejorar esto como si se puede hacer en wordpress.

Un buen constructor de sitios Web...

Muy fácil y asequible, con parte gratuita la cual no está mal, si el siti web a construir es pequeño con squarespace irá de perlas todo y sobre todo con el diseño responsive de base para adecuarlo a cualquier tipo de terminal ( o casi cualquier tipo...)

Contras:

Me gustaría, al igual que otras aplicaciones , que tuviera una opción de guardado automático y no tener que andar pinchando en guardad para guardar los cambios

Una exelente herramienta para crear paginas web rapidamente

Lo que mas me gusta de Squarespace es que no necesitas habilidades tecnicas para construir bonitas paginas web.

Contras:

Lo que no me gusta es el precio. Es muy alto en comparacion con otros creadores de sitios web

Website Building Using Squarespace

Comentarios: My overall experience with Squarespace has been positive in terms of productivity, cost and variance. I enjoy being able to create many different forms of websites catered to specific business needs and appreciate that there are existing templates.

Puntos a favor:

What I like most about Squarespace is how easy and quickly it allows the user to create a website with all of the templates available for specific business needs. I also love the analytics available.

Contras:

What I like least about Squarespace is the Artificial Intelligence. It could definitely be improved upon in terms of creativity.

Look no further than Squarespace to elevate your business!

Puntos a favor:

The amount of professionalism this added to my business for the minimal cost is unparallel. It elevated my branding in a way I did not think was possible without hiring professionals. I could use a template and not feel like I had to compromise my creativity and vision which was a huge concern of mine. If anything, it enhanced both and made me so proud to present/promote my business.

Contras:

Only con would be that it does not offer a free plan like the competitors do.

Save yourself don’t do squarespace

Comentarios: Disgusting . I would not recommend these morons to anyone

Puntos a favor:

Nothing. They have absolutely no support, a response from them via email takes forever. They lie, they don’t have 24/7 support They take money from your account with no permission or explanation, even if you pay your yearly subscription in full

Contras:

They take money from your account with no permission, even if you pay your subscription in full, they have no phone number to call, their support is non existent, they claim to have a 24/7 chat which is a lie, I’ve had many issues with them and it takes forever to get a response via email.

Great tool for STARTING a business

Comentarios: Overall, Squarespace is a great way to start a business and integrate a simple web site at an affordable price. Depending on business growth and complexities related to products, coupons, etc. this can become a challenge for an advanced user/business.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is an easy setup and provides simple ways to begin collecting payments from customers. The building of a basic web site is quick for a beginner with simple tools in the UI for making update a breeze.

Contras:

Once a business grows and wants to build more complex functionality with their web site, Squarespace begins to become much more challenging. The limitations provided by having a simple UI for basic users then hinders advanced users to grow their site and continue using the platform.

Comentarios: Overall I am very happy with Squarespace and would recommend it to a friend.

User friendly, clean layouts, professional looking without having to be a web design expert.

Contras:

The setup can be time consuming but that is to be expected.

Comentarios: Very positive! While I wish there was a live person I could call about domain related questions, I have really appreciated how easy it is to build the site.

I love how easy it is to use. I have never created websites, and now I feel like I have the basic skills to do it!

Contras:

Domains are a little confusing, and I can't find a good customer service phone number for them.

An easy way to create and maintain a website

Comentarios: Very good. A little intimidating to change up to this but it was so easy to figure out.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of use. When I have to change up my website it takes very little time.

Contras:

Honestly that I don’t use it before Wordpress. Wordpress is way more complicated.

I love square space

Comentarios: I use square space for my online business
I own a boutique so it is very convenient for me.

I love square space especially for small businesses. Easy access for payment processing

Contras:

I have not had any problems with square space. So far so good.

What's the point in squarespace?

Comentarios: Overall I can see no circumstance in which Squarespace would be a product I'd recommend, given the quality of their competitors and their absolutely useless support and limited functionality.

Puntos a favor:

It's easy to use for newbies, as it's built for total novices.

Contras:

It's glitchy, slow loading, the support is non-existent. Total waste of time really.

Squarespace gives you web-designer results even if you don't happen to be one.

Comentarios: Overall, I love this product. Everything just works, all the time. No patches, no updates. Easy, easy, easy. And when I made the switch, the actual initial setup of the site took less than a day. Granted the copy was all mostly written, and I was largely just copying and pasting. But still--the whole website was user-ready in a day.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace gives a fantastic user experience at every step of the process. Setup is a snap, site design and layout are easy, with a click-and-drag graphical menu system that makes it easy to visualize the overall structure of the site. Page design is super easy, with drag and drop modules that provide a wide range of functionalities. And there is an integrated store and payment system powered by Stripe. I also love the code block module -- this has been super helpful in beginning to integrate our directory functionality into the website. If you know some HTML, this can be a big plus in adding features. The responsiveness is nearly flawless and (almost always) looks exactly the way I want it to, no matter what device I'm using.

Contras:

Squarespace does not provide a native file serving solution. Our organization needs to provide documents, forms, and announcements to members. I have created a workaround using Google Drive and a hyperlinked index page on the site, but if I were not already able to use Google Apps script, the maintenance of this index page would be cumbersome. There is also no member-forum type module offered by Squarespace. Again, there are workarounds for this, but it would be nice to have a native solution. Also, the Squarespace calendar module does not integrate with Google Calendar. Once again, I have found a workaround for this using an <iframe> in an HTML code block, but it would be nice if there were native Google Calendar integration offered by Squarespace.

Great design, great features, great support

Comentarios: I was first introduced to Squarespace when I hired someone to design the website for my business, and he showed me how to make changes myself. From there I started to play with it and ended up creating simple websites for several clients, many of whom were then able to take over their own upkeep and maintenance. And in the three years I've been working with Squarespace sites, the features and support have only improved. I also love that they're very attuned to what's trending in graphic design, so their templates never look dated.

Puntos a favor:

The aesthetic. Squarespace's design templates are fresh, current, and appealing to begin with, which provides a lot of options for customization.

Contras:

It's not the most intuitive interface ever, but that said, they provide outstanding how-to articles and videos and infinitely patient customer support, so it's not hard to figure out how to do what you want to do, even if you have no coding experience.

Top quality website and easy to create!

Comentarios: So far all my experiences are incredible! They get back to me right away whenever I have a question or issue. Fast to resolve.

Top quality website! Very easy to create a professional looking website all by myself. The templates are wonderful and suitable for all different types of programs. Absolutely love it!

Contras:

The monthly subscription program is pricey but a less expensive option then what I've used before.

Squarespace is my favorite web design platform as a boutique web designer

Comentarios: I love Squarespace. I've been using it for over 3 years and have been able to quickly produce several websites with it. I'm a little disappointed by how much Squarespace is limited on design, but the tradeoff is worth it with how easy their platform integrates e-commerce, email marketing, scheduling, and inventory management all-in-one.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is clean, sophisticated, modern, easy to use, and has built-in features such as domain purchasing, email marketing, scheduling, and e-commerce that make it easy to run a business. With Squarespace, I can trust that my clients will be able to manage their website 100% by themselves once I finish designing it for them. With other platforms (like Wordpress), I cannot guarantee the same. I also like how transparent Squarespace's pricing and plans are. It's so easy to upgrade or downgrade as your needs change. In Squarespace, I can design a high-quality website extremely fast and share the draft with my clients easily.

Contras:

Squarespace is the least flexible of all the web design platforms that I work with in terms of design customization. There are a lot of different types of widgets and ways to display content that simply aren't available on Squarespace because the platform limits what you can change in the design (probably to prevent websites from turning out bad). I've also noticed that Squarespace websites typically load slower than some of the websites I've built on other platforms like Webflow and Duda.

Easy and Elegant

Comentarios: I love SquareSpace. I would really need to be wowed to switch to another company. This has everything I want (not just need) to create a great first impression

Puntos a favor:

I love how simple it is to create the aesthetic I want to share with the public. The customer support team was so helpful whenever I met a snag in implementation. That hardly ever happened though, because it is so straightforward to create my own website with gorgeous content thanks to SquareSpace and their templates

Contras:

There have been a few times where links have broken on my website and it has been challenging to get them reinstated.

Squarespace: Best and fast website builder

Comentarios: If you are a beginner and want to build a website as quickly as possible without any prior knowledge, then you can go with Squarespace. But, if you are willing to invest some time to learn about website development, then nothing is better than WordPress.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is a good option for beginners who want to build a website without any prior web development knowledge. They provides lots templates to design the website, which are mobile-friendly. First you need to select one among 100+ templates and start buliding your website with it's easy website builder. You can easy sell products in Squarespace and track product orders from the dashboard. It also has a Financial dashboard to track earnings. And ff you have any concerns about using Squarespace, you can contact customer service at any time.

Contras:

Squarespace sites are not good in search engine optimization, making it difficult to rank them on the first page of Google. Limited software and service can be integrated with Squarespace. It is also quite tough to migrate from Squarespace to another website development platform.

Comentarios: Although there have been some cons towards Squarespace, my overall experience has been great. One of the best features of the software, is its price. Unlike other software programs that require loads of money to start off or to go premium, Squarespace provides a suitable price that all small businesses can manage. The websites that can be made from this software look great if made correctly and function as any website would.

Puntos a favor:

One of the main things I liked about this was its user-friendly interface, which made it easier to make the website. Another would be the wide variety of templates offered.

Contras:

The only disadvantage of this software is the lack of customizability given to the creator of the website. You can only customize the templates preset rows. Plus the fact that it cannot autosave, but will suggest you to manually save after changes.
