Contras:

The sales dept made 3 appointments and no showed all 3 times. My inside support person is a a grouchy B---OTCH who wants to argue with me and tells me I am the only one every that has been unhappy.

Me encanto su app movil porque permite laborar de forma remota sin necesidad de tener un plan de minutos con el operador que utilizo.

Contras:

el unico inconveniente que presente fue la caida del internet pero no tenia nada que ver con esta herramienta.

En mi trabajo me a favorecido mucho este software ya que cuando hablamos de telecomunicación esperamos no tener fallas ya que cada llamada es importante para la empresa y con RingCentral no tenemos problema alguno

Contras:

Creo que se podría mejorar en el alcance que puede tener el software ya que emos teñido problemas en ovaciones para enlazar una videoconferencia

Ring Central is a solid small business phone service

Comentarios: Overall we really liked Ring Central. The only reason we switched away was because a friend started their own VOIP phone service and we got to support them and use it for cheap. I really like Ring Central and have recommended it to several friends over the years.

We used Ring Central for about a year and it was always pretty good. I really liked the mobile app because it allowed us to work remotely and not have to pay for phone service at our employees homes.

Contras:

The phone service only ever had a problem when the internet went down on our office or in my neighborhood. Ring Central was great, the internet was not reliable enough.

Comentarios: Our office used RingCentral for all it's telephony (calls, text, voice mail) needs for over 3 years. We rarely experienced outages or issues and it allow us to maintain a local Canadian office phone number despite working 100% remotely. Unlike some VoIP competitors it also had built in text message services which made SMS authentication through text seamless.

Puntos a favor:

RingCentral allowed our office to keep it's dedicated Canadian office phone number and take that office phone global with it's VoIP system. We we're able to use text authentication services, call clients, and keep our office going from any location in the world.

Contras:

RingCentral offers more than most VoIP services - mainly because of it's dedicated app. That said the cost of this service is far more than most of it's competitors. It's an expensive solution unless easy of use outweighs cost.

Can find better value elsewhere

Comentarios: poor, Always had the issue of tying to get through to customer service and it was not a convenient experience. 1/2 hour to 1 hour hold time is not good for service.

Nothing that is outstanding, used a fax line for small business and it worked well, issue was the price increases. Year over Year they wanted me to pay $275 or so from 120 bucks. I did not think that was fair. Gave them an opportunity to lower price and they refused, hence the change to another company

Contras:

getting through the customer service line for simple inquiries was impossible.

Comentarios: Although we do not love their customer service department, overall it is worth the money.

The customer service department is improving but it still takes a long time to resolve issues. There is a lot of waiting on hold for unimportant tasks.

Comentarios: RingCentral has been easy to use and implement and recommend for small or large businesses.

The ease of use and ability for our sales team to be able to answer calls that are meant for our team during business hours, and have a simple and organized location for all after-hours calls.

Contras:

No specific cons at this time. Before, the app did not include HUD features which made it more difficult, but this has been addressed.

Increasing Business Development Response Time

Comentarios: Overall, this software has changed the way our Business Development Team operates for our inbound marketing. It has made our response times to warm leads very minimal with getting a representative in contact as soon as possible. The dictation of voicemails has also changed the way we can provide a direct answer to a client even after hours.

The ability to create call trees for different departments of our organization has been a game changer in our response time for leads.

Incredible Phone Management

Comentarios: We have had an excellent experience using RingCentral MVP. It has been essential for our communication within our team and with our clients. I would recommend to any company looking to have great video and telephone communications.

Puntos a favor:

We utilize the ability to manage all our users phones and licensing form the admin portal. Uses connections are very reliable and the VoIP options help us be more mobile. The administration is easy to learn and setup. Users are able to quickly pick up how to use phones.

Contras:

If we had to pick a con for this it would be that it really makes you use their phones if you want a physical phone at desks. It would be nice to use other brands.

Best for remote workers

Comentarios: I work remotely. I believe it's easier for a company to afford remote workers than paying an on site worker, which is usually expensive. With Ring central, the company is able to cut down overall spending costs.

Puntos a favor:

I was surprised that I could actually communicate with my team in the US while I am in Africa with just an internet access. The communication is flowless. Features like call recording, messaging. group videos, un reading a message, call log monitoring has reduced our company's operating costs. Lower overhead costs has helped our company increase its profits since we are a big team working remotely.

Contras:

Sometimes messaging just stops without a warning. It's irritating especially when you are in the middle of a busy week and clients need to be contacted not only through a call. This affects the business really bad. As a staffing agency, we need constant communication with staffs and facilities to fill shifts. Sometimes the messaging issue would go for a week without being resolved. If it's account issues or issues with payment, RingCentral has to notify as at least a day or two days before. I hope they see this.

An alternative for a phone number for freelancers

Comentarios: We tried different call applications but this one was the best! I am working as a freelancer with US based company, and this application gave me freedom to call, receive calls and voice mails and get done my job very fast and easy. Easy to set up.

Inliked the voice mail option, since I am working in a different time zone, remotely.

Nothing major, just sometimes I need to re-log in.

Comentarios: I like ring central better then spectrum or At&T. Love that it connects to your mobile phone and can login and out of when needed.

Easy to use on Mobile phone and link your ext to your mobile app. Easy to transfer calls to the correct person. Can log in and out when needed.

I have used Ring Central for 4 years or so. It is easy to use, but drops calls alot. Sometimes callers will say they cannot hear me.

Dropping of calls, disconnects calls. Would like for Ring Central to help with that.

Ring Central - regular but not varied user review

Comentarios: Overall I've had a positive experience, I use the product mainly for outbound calling and it's reliable and easy enough to use.

It's clear and easy to use. Has a nice user interface with clear, easy to define icons for different functions. Call quality is usually good too.

Contras:

I feel the log in process is a little long and unnecessary, it opens a few other windows during the process and I feel it could be streamlined.

Comentarios: Great experience. We continue to use it.

I like the way my voicemails are transcribed and emailed to me. I like the directory. I like the ease of transferring calls or forwarding them to another office.

It was sort of hard to understand at firs, but once I played with it more I was able to be more familiar.

The deployment of RingCentral wasn't the best, BUT, my work is very complex so we had a lot of questions when we were setting things up that I don't think other companies would normally have.

Ring Central a usefull tool for companies with a global workforce

We love how RingCentral MVP integrates with various tools, such as Google Microsoft 365 which our business uses daily. This enhances communication & efficiency by bringing these platforms to our employees based in different countries.

We find RingCentral MVP to be expensive compared to other communication software. But we still use it as it is worth for the services they provide.

Great phone system with some room for improvement

Enables us to setup teachers with Soft phones on their mobile phones, enabling them to call parents using the school's main phone number as their call-back number.

Contras:

The phone app is slow to respond at times, ringing 5 or 6 seconds after the desk phone (all settings are to ring all simultaneously)There are at least 2 or 3 different sets of instructions to setting up a hot desk phone, none of them helped, so the documentation on their website desperately needs a review
