Very easy to use and manage folders/documents. Setting up permissions and access controls are intuitive and the "view as" feature is particulalry useful to make sure the correct folders/files are accessible or hidden for the correct parties.
Contras:
Was looking to try and freeze a portion of the dataroom but not all folders, unfortunately, this feature wasn't available

Occasionally there are errors uploading files. It's not always clear how a data room is being billed.

Great Data Sharing Tool but Price Can be High
Comentarios: I currently use Datasite on the daily basis. It is very user friend and makes it easy for me to find documents that I have uploaded and other documents that others have uploaded. The only thing that is not my favorite is that it can be hard to tell what documents have been uploaded when.
Puntos a favor:
The easy of use. The fact that you have one central spot to be able to upload large files and data sets to be able to share with internal and external clients. It is also nice that gives you a daily update on what documents have been provided by either parties.
Contras:
The price. Datasite historically charges clients by the amount of pages that are extracted from the platform. Therefore, the cost of using the software can and will add up quickly.

Datasite VDR - The best-overall solution for transaction datarooms
Comentarios: Very very happy. Easy and intuitive to use. Would strongly recommend over any other alternative.

1. Intuitive and ease of use: ability to "View As" a group is game-changing, and gives you peace of mind in ensuring that permissions are accurate and important sensitive data is shared correctly 2. Customer support: Very dedicated team

It is fairly easy to navigate and there isn't 'too much' going on. This makes the VDR feel clean and simply makes it easier for me as the administrator to arrange everything.
Contras:
Permission management can be a bit difficult to navigate, especially in terms of setting up numerous groups (in order to issues different levels of security).

Comentarios: I like it! I've found it very easy to use and the people at customer support are helpful when I can't figure out a tool / have tech issues.

I think it's easy to use, and I wish I would use it more; however, I don't set up the data rooms (the bankers send me links and I sign up for whatever one they choose)
Contras:
N/A - it is my favorite VDR by miles. I think the next best is Intralinks, but Datasite is far better
